The end of the season tournament. Nine teams, two days to play... we didn't make it to the 2nd day, but we had all the fun... even those who didn't play, guess who? But my shirt played 3rd base under Andy's command, my glove nailed the best pitches out of Randy's hands and my elbow strap got the balls on place hen Clays fired them from the home plate.

It was a great day. Lot's of fun, great friendship, team work and longlife worthy conversations with Ronnie and Chris. Life's more than the game.

My Thai Driver License

So, this is the proof of part of my investigation about the date in Thailand. This is my new driver license. Check out that the issue date, although it was 28th of April, the year still 2549, instead of 2550 as I thought it would change after the New Year's celebration on the 13th of April. But the best part of all was my Birth Date... That is totally cool !!! I'm from the future!!

Fe de errata

En nuestros posts del Sunday, April 09, 2006 "Conduciendo en la izquierda" y Thursday, April 13, 2006 "Songkran. Water Festival Thailand 06" donde dice 2550 debe decir 2549.

En otras palabras, si bien el 13 de abril pasado se celebró el año nuevo en Tailandia (y así todos los 13 de Abril), el número del año no cambió de 2549 a 2550, si no que siguió siendo 2549... Que por qué? Bueno, si todavía no he logrado que ningún Tailandés me diga qué sucedió al comienzo del conteo que haya sido tan importante como para marcar la longevidad de su historia, menos creo que conseguiré que me digan por qué si el año nuevo se celebra en Abril, el año cambia el 31 de Diciembre.
